Coastal Steel won the 2022 Australian Steel Institute’s Best Small Project NSW Award for this residential project also known as ‘Oceano House’.
Almost 60 tonne of structural steel, detailed, fabricated, galvanised and installed for this architectural house, cantilevered off a sheer drop in Copacabana.
There was several challenging site constraints for this project including the limited site access, the steep terrain of the block and the vast scale of the structural steel elements.
